Members question need for security guards at Strait school board session

"Security guards and a subtle warning about anonymous emails set the tone at a Strait regional school board meeting Wednesday.

"I’ve never seen security guards at school board meetings before and I think it was unnecessary," board member Richelle MacLaughlin (West Antigonish) said Thursday..."

And the Superintendent, Mr. Jack Beaton, was quoted in this article as saying "It wasn’t my intent to intimidate anyone and it’s unfortunate if people might think the intent was to intimidate."
