Province Plans to Build 16 New Schools Under the Current School Capital Construction Plan

"Students are enjoying a modern, safe learning environment at the new Oxford Regional Education Centre in Oxford, Cumberland Co.
Education Minister Marilyn More joined students, parents, teachers, staff, school board and government officials today, May 25, for the school's official opening ceremony.
"Government is committed to making life better for families in every region," said Ms. More. "The families of the Oxford area deserve a first-class school that will provide their children with state-of-the-art learning opportunities.
"Oxford Regional Education Centre will also be a gathering place that has a very positive impact on the community."
The $18-million school for 450 students in Primary to Grade 12 replaces two aging schools -- Oxford Regional Elementary School and Oxford Regional High School....."
